Common questions rewarding the August 31st gift card promotion
Here are the common questions regarding the 8/31 promo:
1)I have no use for Disney Dollars what can I do?
For every $25 you redeem you will get ($1 or $2 depending on if you referred a friend) added to your QR account. You can redeem these credits for anything you like. Disney dollars will only be added to those who redeem for Disney Gift Cards unless they request account credit instead.
2)Do I only need to find a gift card that has $25 denominations to get the bonus?
No you can combine as many giftcards/denominations as you want. The key is to have $25,$50 and so on combined together during one redemption request. So you can get 2 $10 Walmart cards and 1 $5 Amazon card and still receive the $1 credit.
3)How do I claim the bonus?
Just redeem on 8/31 for gift cards. Once we process them the account bonus will be added accordingly. Please go to MY ACCOUNT -> CONTACT INFO and make sure that your full name and address is there so that we know where to ship the gift cards.
4)Does this promotion apply to those who get e-certificates like Ebay and Amazon?

Get ready to donate those tokens!
Thanks for all your feedback a few weeks ago regarding the idea of donating unused tokens before they expire. We got way too many requests for charities and we still have to find a way to organize all these. (Any feedback on how to select from the charities to feature would be very appreciated because I don’t want to avoid all the smaller charities and only donate to the larger once that everyone knows about. I think of it this way: the larger once like Red Cross will always get funding sources form millions of people, but the smaller once will have a harder time. So if anyone has suggestions on how to make this fair for everyone without displaying every single charity at once let me know!)
Anyways back to the point……………….I was reading Disboards a few weeks ago and found a post that I felt I needed to help in any way I can. A Disboards member, loveisforevertoo was asking others how to raise money for her niece. She is a big Mickey fan and might never have a chance to see Disney. Here is her story:
“Hello my name is Tina DeCesaro, you may recognize me from the Disboards as loveisforevertoo. I have a niece who has a medical condition that is causing her to go blind, before she completely loses her sight I wanted to give her the chance to go to Disney World. For about 6 months I searched for a program that would help make her dreams come true, but because she was not terminally ill no one could help. that’s when I decided to start a program called for a child’s wish. This will help children from every walk of life have a dream fulfilled. Thank you for any contribution you can make!”
This will be our first donation project for August and September. Hopefully together we can donate enough to buy her niece the tickets to go to Disney. New features: Favorite offer of the day/Daily Check list
Favorite Offer of the Day
Check out the first click in the clicks section named: Favorite Offer of the Day. It is a new concept that will allow members to share which offer credited to their account fast on a specific day. Members will also be able to share experiences. This will help you decided which offers you can do in order to maximize your earnings. Best part of all this is that every single day we will be selecting 10 random posts and adding 1,000 tokens to their accounts. You must watch your balance daily since 1,000 tokens might be sitting there!
Daily Check List
Before I went on vacation we released the Daily Checklist. Some people figured out how to use it and some didn’t. In a nutshell it pretty much takes you through everything you can do on QR within a given day. All you do is click on the gray square, look at the task (do it if you like) and hit the [Check This Item] link located on the yellow box you will see on the top. Each check mark gets you 1 token a day. This is a great tool for those who were not sure how to navigate the site.
