Hi all,
I finally got a chance to start our very own blog. I would like to make this blog very interactive so that members can constantly visit it for the latest news and so that we can have ongoing discussions. I would like to begin by introducing my self and would like to learn more about you.
My name is Dmitry and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I started QuickRewards in 2002. I graduated from Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Technology Management, minor in Psychology and I also took all the classes required to enter medical school. Right now I am working full time on Quickrewards along with a few other people. We are working hard on releasing the new QR as well as looking for ways to improve the current QR. My job at QuickRewards would include doing almost everything except for programming, processing payments and some email support.
Let’s get the introductions started so that I can learn more about our members and everyone can interact with each other. You can start by answering the following questions:

My wife and I live in Michigan, and are right now enjoying the cold snowey weather. We've been fortunate here not to have the wicked weather thats been hitting the midwest and the eastern coast. Our thoughts are going out to all of you there.

My name is Paula, I live in Northern California. I have been on this site for about a year now and I work in the mortgage buisness. I found this site from the DISboards.
Hi, I go by rainny on here, and just want to say a few things. Just my opinion of course. I have seen where everyone suggested that the points we earn, from contest, trivia, etc. go to some type of Charity, That is great if you are on here just for fun or something to do, but I do this to supplement my income, disability. I belong to a few other sites that pay, not as good as QR's but I need every penny I can make. If I were rich I would surely donate to my favorite charity which would be St. Judes, but since I am not rich I can't donate to any charities. I use to do all the trivia, contest, etc. to get points thinking they would convert to cash. Now I stopped doing all of those, I just do my clicks and sign up on freebies and a few others, surveys etc. I belong to several other sites that pay, although not as good as Quick Rewards, but at the end of the month I may have made 20 to 30 dollars, That means I will have food at the end of the month. Those points converted to cash would really help me a lot. I am all for charities, but they began at home. Kudos to you that don't need the extra cash and want your points go to these charities, But I sure wish they would be turned into cash for me. sorry this is so long. I love this site and believe me, what little I do make goes to a good use, food, maybe part of my water bill etc. Thats all I wanted to say. Thanks for reading. God Bless
