Site Speed help needed

We are testing to see what is making the site load slower. I removed the digital clicks (they will be back). Can you let me know if the site loads faster now or not. If not is a specific section of the site slow?

THURSDAY NOON:
WE ADDED MORE CLICKS. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF IT IS SLOWER NOW OR STILL FAST

Site is still slow. I clicked to get into the site and did something else while I waited for the page to load

Are you using Firefox or IE? Also what did you try to do?
Finally can you try adding or deleting www and see if that helps in any way.

It is still slow for me also, and I don't think it is any one area. It seems to be any and all areas for me.

Unknown said...

I am using the Maxthon browser that runs off of IE.

The clicks section was definitely faster for me. A couple were a little slow. Same with the Daily Check List-a couple were a little slow but the rest loaded fairly quickly.
I haven't tried clicking on any offers yet.
I use FF.

The whole site is slow, I am using IE, and I have tried it at different times of the day and it doesn't make any difference. All areas of the site are slow.

(Using Firefox)
Clicking on any link (e.g. clicks, contest, emails etc) takes > 2 minutes to load. The email page has not a lot of information on it, but a refresh (F5) of that page also takes 2 minutes.
Looking in the left hand corner of my browser I see "waiting for images.quickrewards.net" when waiting for a page to load.

http://www.dnstools.com reports that the site-link images.quickrewards.net is down (74.52.136.10)

-Used the "www" version to access using Maxthon (rides on IE7) and it took about 5 minutes to load and I am on cable.

- Used quickrewards.net (no w's) and the page popped up instantaneously.

- Killed page with "www" and used second page I opened to click on trivia link. Unfortunately, it is as quick as frozen molasses.

Entire site is slow for me. I am so sorry this has happened to you. Hang in, grab a nap and refresh yourself so you can solve this. You must be exhausted. I know I am.

SLOW SLOW SLOW
and I am using both IE and Firefox

Site slow for 5-8 minutes then speeds up to normal. Lasts for a minute or two. Doesn't matter which page.

Also, not receiving any response to my emails to support regarding shopping. Is there an email problem ?

Hi zusanmail,
You are using Compcast right? Email us from another eamil. Compcast is having some universal issue that is why we are not receiving it.

Loads much faster for me using IE

IE - Pages are loading quickly this morning. No problems.

The site was really slow at 4:30 this morning, but now at 5:53 it seems to be running much faster. The daily clicks only took a minute to do compared to 10 minutes or more yesterday. Of course the image clicks are not there so that helped a lot, because they took refreshing the page many times before they loaded so that I could click on them.

Unknown said...

Much better this morning! I'm using FF.

Seems faster this morning to me than it was last night around 7pm. Using IE.

LorieR said...

(Using Firefox) I just signed on about 7:30 a.m. and the site is much, much faster than it has beenthe last few days and last night :)

Cheryl said...

I logged on to both IE and FF, I found both to be 100% faster this morning. I haven't noticed any section slower than another at this point.

Terry said...

I use IE. Seems to be running much better today

Unknown said...

The site is definitely faster since the digital cliks were removed, both in IE and if Firefox.

rose331 said...

I thought is was just me with the slow speed. both ie and foxfire are much faster. miss the extra points, though.

Unknown said...

I too noticed the slow speeds the last few days. But for me it was "sitewide", not just the daily clicks. I'm wondering - how does the digital clicks on the daily clicks page upset the whole site. Just wondering - but I sure hope that the digital clicks and hourly clicks aren't gone for good

Lori said...

Running much faster this morning. I use IE most of the time.

Unknown said...

Everything is zipping along this morning in both IE and FF. I didn't notice any change in speed when I dropped the "www".
Maybe you can add back the banners a few at a time so we can tell if there are particular ones causing the slowdown?
Thanks for working on this.

LorieR said...

I just did two hourly clicks and it is still fast!

Jean1257 said...

It is working fine for me. I use SeaMonkey, a version of Mozilla as my browser. Get less bugs with this than with IE!

7:40pm Just did the two US clicks & everything was still fast for me in IE.

I noticed a very big difference in speed today compared to the past few.

Thanks for fixing it

11:24 P.M. Clicks seem faster tonight. Have done the hourly click and the one that is every 3 hours and they seem to be working faster in Firefox.

Unknown said...

Still running fast for me after the hourly click was added.

CindyWheeler said...

It is Much Better now! Everything seems to be in working order now guys! Thanks so much for all of your hard work!I am working in IE and all of the pages are loading great, no problems on any of the pages.

Unknown said...

What a difference a day makes! I'm zooming around the site at speeds I would expect. This it the BEST speed since the site overhaul for me. I'm on WinXP/Maxthon/Comcast Cable and never thought the site ran at normal speeds after you relaunched.

Great job.

Unknown said...

Still running fast and well for me after second multi click added. This is really nice. Thanks!

Unknown said...

The site is still fast on both IE and Firefox, even with the digital clicks up.

Unknown said...

Firefox & IE
Cannot get the two hourly clicks to load. Have refreshed the page several times with no results

Unknown said...

They just appeared after about 2 minutes on the page

Offers are not crediting now!The site is still working at a good speed but none of my credits from my offer are crediting.Usually I have gotten credit for my offers after a couple of hours but it has been 4 and none of them have credited yet.

CindyWheeler said...

Sorry I ment to say that I am working in IE as usual.

Dmitry said...

Hi Cindy,
No problem. I will ask them to reset the instant creditor. It might take a few hours, but as usual it always catches up.

CindyWheeler said...

no problem just wanted you to know, you can't fix something if you don't know it is not working right? :)

Unknown said...

The Lingo click is working again. And the site is still running smoothly.

Unknown said...

All pages seem to be loading quickly. All the banners credited for me in FF, even Lingo. (Lingo never credited for me before.)

works so much better now. :D I can click anything and not wait forever for it to load.

rose331 said...

still fairly fast on both IE and Firefox

ger2007 said...

So much better - earlier in the week I just gave up daily clicks for abput 2 days

rainny said...

I hate to be the only one that it is taking forever for the daily clicks to open, I tried for almost an half hour tonight to get them all but 2 of them just wouldn't work the banner won't show. I bet I refreshed the page 6 times for each hourly click before the banner showed, still didn't get them all to open. All the QR boxes open fine, it's just the hourly and the 3 hour one and of course Lingo that I am having so much problems with. Using IE. I hate to see the hourly ones gone but it worked fine until they were put back on.

Dmitry said...

Hi rainny,
These click issues you are having now are not an error on our end. Are you using Firefox for them?

xaveria2 said...

I am using Firefox and having the same issues with the hourly clicks today. Clicks #6 and #7 won't load even after refreshing for more than 30 minutes and the last two #17 & #18 load but very slowly. Earlier today everything was working just fine. Everything else on the site is very fast just not these hourly clicks. I haven't had problems with the one that is every 3 hours. Thanks for the help.

xaveria2 said...

Now it is 7:22 P.M. and none of the hourly clicks are working in either IE or Firefox. The 3 hour one isn't working either. I have refreshed and refreshed ever since 7:00 and nothing.

Dmitry said...

Hi Pamela,
Try later today or tomorrow. That means they ran out of ads to rate I belive.

nelda said...

The CenturyTel banners never credit for me. Is there a certain reason they don't credit? (all other banners do credit) I'm using Firefox.
